Christmas Hatch-A-Long

I have 10 eggs due in 2 days, 2 hours. They may be early cause I hear cheeping. Then 12 more due on the 8th.
I'll probably set the new eggs when I pull the first 10 out.

WOW! You ain’t messing around.
My daughter and I had s tough time deciding which ones to put in..... 24 are for a friend at work which only left room for 32........ well evidently who ever designed the trays uses smaller eggs than I like. We just barely got all 56 eggs in, my friends eggs fit just fine but not mine. Sigh. I am glad I bought the bigger trays it means less eggs will fit but that's ok if they fit well. Yeah had to throw in one white one lol only 6 green ones for us.... and Lots of dark and Dark speckled ones

Did you know they say not to choose the largest eggs, the smaller eggs do hatch better, but that is eggs from say the same hen you would chose the smaller of her two.

I'm actually going to set in a few days, since I want a few more of my silkie/serama eggs to set and because I'm a single mom (widowed, actually) with kids and christmas day itself is pretty hectic for me. Also, serama tend to sometimes hatch earlier, from what I've read. My silkies started hatching on day 20. I want to have full attention to give to the hatching eggs! :)
