Putting these in incubator tomorrow, I am waiting on 2 more small ones. I had the egg I wanted today but it had a peck hole.
2 BCM, one Swedish flower hen, one legbar, one light blue EE to the left, one BO mix, light green is Blue is frizzle. Good little sampler.

Ok who laid the speckled one? Lol that's one of my favorites

Well they'e all tucked in for lockdown tonight! Somehow 6 buggers survived the chaos that was this hatch (out of 18 viable ) and now I'm hoping that things go smoothly with this part. My cmas days off start on Thursday so they better not hatch till then!!

Pay no attention to the temps/humidity I just had the lid off for handling etc

On edge today, we had our first December snowfall and there's been power outages all over. Im at work and can't do anything if ours go out
I can get my brother to go in if anything happens but not sure how best to keep them warm after Lockdown, other than wrapping the incubator with a towel or something :/

How about boiling some water or baking a brick to put in there.
Keep your fingers crossed.

He rents downstairs so if the power goes out he can't boil anything I will get him to light the wood stove soon so at least the house won't be too cold and worst case he can gently move the incubator close by and wrap it up
