Christmas is coming early Hatch-A-Long!

Pics
Since you have another machine, this makes most sense, then you can control each environment separately as needed. 😊
We're going to be playing musical incubators 🤣 I might put the white wilkies back in the Brinsea after everyone hatches and I clean it out again.

Ok, I see what my phone did but I think I'm going to leave it, I think we just found the flock name for the little white floofs 🤣

This story continues, eggs snug in their 'bator,
Dreaming of hatching just a few days later.
Tink has questions on this hatch of risks,
What could be better, this, this or this?
What can be done that's best for the eggies,
With ever growing beaks, eyes, and leggies?
We're hoping for peeping two days apart
With cheering and kind words sent from warm hearts.
Please keep on growing you wee little meeps
The Christmas world needs you to fill it with peeps!
How quickly they'll grow
Gently candled and turned.
With the temps kept just right
Not too hot for a burn.

Hoping mama keeps track
We're in such a daze.
We won't all hatch at once
It could literally take days!

But we know there are lots
Of peeps cheering for us.
We'll grow our best
With such love and good luck!

Love it!:clap

I feel more prepared for a staggered hatch a week apart than just the 2 days.

Would this be a bad idea:

Move the white silkies to the NR360 (preheating now with a towel around the lid but not blocking the vents)

Leave all the further along silkies in the Brinsea:
- Prep the incubator for lockdown (add a mat the the floor and an empty cup to add water to later to increase the humidity)
- Monday PM: Remove the splash from the turning baskets and set on the mat.
- Wednesday AM: Remove all turners and increase the humidity to 70%

The first eggs I set should go into lockdown about 24 hours before the splash hatch. Depending on a ton of factors so this could be more or less. Heck, the splash could hatch early and then I'd be late on increasing the humidity.

I'll candle them after dark tonight, maybe that will give my novice self a better idea on what the best solution will be.
You've got this down, but yes, a week is way better than 2 days. The humidity won't be a huge issue though if you're just a little late as it's the average that matters. Maybe crank it up by 10% where they are as that won't hurt anything but would be a little closer to what the ones hatching will need.

I never remember silkies hatching early. They're supposed to be 19 days but I swear it's never been 19 days, more like 20 or 21 even.

I have the same two incubators, I believe if your Brinsea is a 56EX. I've never hatched in the Brinsea as I move them all at lockdown time to the NR360 that has the wheel removed and rubbery shelf liner on it. I think I mentioned this before as it's like Dejavu as I type it lol.

I go from right to left as the left is the side where the door is so I can peek in easier.
