Yes, I removed it, but I can put it back for a few more days. It just didn't look right at all.

I would put it back in. Maybe snap a few pictures of it so we can have a look. I have hatched over 100 chicken eggs! I'm getting pretty good!

Here in Atlanta we refer to that as “Snowmaggedon”

I've had up to 37 inches of snow when I owned chickens. They had to stay in the coop for a few days so that I could make them some chicken paths ( more like tunnels through the snow ) It's one of those moments when you look out the window and are speechless. All you can say " What the White Stuff "

I know sometimes I really don't feel like scooping snow. But that's part of living up North.

That's just how Rosie looked. Actually you probably don't know this but embryos do sleep. So sometimes when you candlelight you don't see any movement.
