Christmas Market ~ List what you have to sell

You should REALLY be on etsy!!!!! Love those pieces, especially the strawberry necklace.

Thanks, Chicks_N_Horses! I love Kirks Folly. I sometimes do Tolkien-style Elven jewelry (hence my user name, it's from one of J R R Tolkien's books), so maybe it carries over into some of my other stuff.

@Feathered Wings I love compliments like that! For me it's more about sharing than selling. I make more gifts than I do items for sale. Mostly because there are just so many birthdays and as soon as I finish one project, I have to start another. : )

@vfem I signed up for etsy a year or two ago (as Haleth even!) but I never had the time to list anything lol Maybe one day!

I have Sunwashed Linen, and it smells really clean. That is the only thing I would have with that smell. I don't have anything that smells like cotton, I could see what my suppliers have to offer. The closet thing to cotton I would have, would maybe be baby powder. It's a soft powdery scent.

I crochet a few things.

Chicken Towel Toppers in your choice of colors (if available to match your favorite gal)
$12.00 each

Crochet Baby sets to include sweather, cap, and booties. Afghan is seperate. PM me for prices on these.

Rag Quilts (crib, throw and full size) PM me for prices.

Rag Quilt style Purses $20.00 (these are selling like hot cakes, I carry one with chickens on it and everyone tries to buy it!! )

And of course those cute little Chicken Aprons!

I sell these monogrammed candles:

I also can make a towel, shirt, or whatever with an applique' monogram even with Vera Bradley Fabric. This is great for those sorority girls, or even those preteens. My nieces love their Vera Bradley stuff, and I have made pillow cases, lunch bags, and sweatshirts for them.

My mom is interested in baby powder, however it's just not my scent. The sunwashed linen sounds nice though. Must smell like the laundry after it's hung out on the line for an afternoon. I got some wonderful candles from a place up in Woodfield Mall in Schaumburg IL that closed down shortly after I visited them and I never got to get even a quarter of the scents that I wanted to get. But at $30+ a jar, I couldn't afford to sample all the different fragrances! However I did get my clean linen, and I got a wonderful one for my mom that I can't even remember what it was, all I know is that it was wonderful and I'd like to find scented candles that she will like and give them to her for Christmas. Plus I want a linen candle for me.

I love candles as much as she does! I wish there was a way to get a sample of the different fragrances. As I've gotten older some odors have begun to make me ill, either with nausea or migraines. I am interested in that storm watch one you have too. That one sounds like maybe it's the smell of fresh rain, or the ocean. Would I be right? I'm interested in getting a few candles closer to Christmas. I'll keep you in mind and pm you when I have the money to spend.

Let me figure out what Storm Watch smells like to me. I really like the Sunwashed Linen. I use it as my air freshener for my house, because to me it has a clean breezy smell, like I have been washing clothes all day.
