Go to www.razzledazzlerecipes.com. Then scroll down to Christmas recipes and click on gift in a jar then bake in jar. This will give you recipes for actually baking breads and cakes in the jar. You bake it then give them away.
It is something a little different then just giving the ingredients in the jar. I am then going decorate the jar and put them in a small basket with half a dozen or so of our eggs. Hoping they end up liking the eggs so much they will become good customers.
I plan on doing this for school teachers, co-workers, and our neighbors that help me so much.
Hope this helps. I usually buy gifts for all these people and it gets so expensive. We are really trying to save all we can right now so I am trying to find things I can do to save a little money but still not make me look cheap!

Because I am aclumsy person, I never tried anything as delicate as blowing out eggs. Can you tell me how to do it? These eggs are really my only option for Chistmas gifts this year.

My husband uses his dremel tool to drill a hole at each end then you literally just blow the insides out into a bowl. I think he may use a pin to start a hole but I'm not sure. We haven't tried a quail egg yet. Sometimes he does crack one of the chicken eggs but more often than not it works fine. Then I string a strand of embroidery floss through and tie a tiny button at each end to cover the hole.
i just found this site that explains how to blow out and decorate an egg. They mention making an egg mosaic out of broken pieces of egg which have been colored. That might be a cool idea.
I blew out my EE's green/blue eggs and painted them with a glue water mixture....dusted them with fairy dust glitter (very fine glitter) which allowed the green to shine thru (cannot remember the actual brand name but I got it at Michael's in the glue aisle)....then I tied a ribbon around it and used scrap booking stick on crystals. Then I printed up pretty tags that said MERRY CHICKEN CHRISTMAS 2007!! I put them in fudge/Martha Stewart craft boxes. With pretty wrapping....for storing the Christmas ornament when not in use.
BEST Present every....folks loved them. I have even gotten requests for a new one this year!!
