We haven't had a Christmas tree since I was six. It went away into a box when we moved, either that or we left it behind, I can't remember.

My neighbours, however, have enough lights strung all over their properties for the whole street

They usually leave the lights on until mid-February as well, we always have a laugh about it.
Especially as it's around the time temperatures hit the 40+*C

. We always put up early and have everything down by new years. Some of the people here keep them on all year

We have concerts on the beach. It's funny.
