Always thought the albino chukars were neat looking birds!! Been digging in the archives on here and can't really find a lot bout space requirement. Couple threads I did find one said they was ideal to be on wire and 1sq ft per bird was good. The other thread said they should be on the ground and not overly crowded or they'll "pile". I would like to get a trio or maybe a quad one rooster 2-3 hens. Figured if I did best of both worlds and put them in a raised pen with deep litter in the bottom id still be alright? Anybody have this set up? Was thinking maybe if I did like a 8' wide x 4' deep x 3' tall pen with a couple hidey holes and a higher 1' wide shelf I'd be alright with a trio or quad? All you chukar experts am I in business for a few chukars with this set up or no? Any ideas much appreciated!!
Thank you!
