Cicklets are arriving in a few hours!

So excited! There should be 2 Buff Orpington, 2 Wyandottes, one barred rock, and one Colombian rock. Their Bin is set up and getting warm. Everything is in place. Photos to follow later today.
Raised 6 to adulthood last year and all did well, but sadly we last one to a hawk. Hens are now secure and happy. We currently have 3 black astralorps and the two remaining barred rocks.
I like the idea of having a dozenish hens. Enough eggs to share with friends and family.

I have a black heat bulb in a caged hanging lamp, a thermometer, a nice big tub, chick sized feeder and waterer.
I am a mother hen myself. I tend to check on then very often.

They are home! Temp is going up. We lowered the lamp. I am on love!
