City folk-how to know WHICh post office

Well, I found my post office. They DO NOT normally call and said I need to follow my tracking and just come when it says they're been delivered. I left my number anyways. I realized my ladies haven't shipped but a label was made hours ago. If they haven't shipped yet I'm assuming they won't be here tomorrow.

Also the tracking on chicks is never accurate. They just don't update them like they do packages. I would definitely call the post office tomorrow. Mine never said out for delivery. Just my experience.

My chicks traveled 750 miles and arrived in one day. Never did receive a tracking update. Be ready. Typically you can arrive before hours to pick up live animals. Did you ask when the truck arrives from the sorting station? They will be the first packages off.

They dont answer but figured I would go in at 9am, when they open, just in case. I assume they arrive in the morning.

You can also sign up for text alerts from the post office. I received an alert each time my chicks were scanned by the PO. The text updates were much more accurate and timely compared to the website's order number tracking. My post office also calls, but I received my final text alert about an hour before they called so I was already in the lobby when my phone rang

Thanks! Its still saying that USPS is awaiting the package. I'm not sure if they've been shipped or not! Getting worried now. I signed up for text alerts through Cackle and so far, nothing. Maybe PO text alerts are different?
