Garret shrugged and held out his sword again, checking for any other spots before sheathing it and putting the rag in his pocket "Why are we here at all, why just a bunch of teenagers and not adults? Why take our memories? We could ask why to a lot of things, and be no closer to any answers." He looked down at them "I say we try to trap him and get some answers"

"But what if it's trying to lead us into a trap?" Autumn suggested. She set down the birds and starting skinning the rabbits.

Jo continued doodling, listening quietly to the others talking.

"It might also know that it'll never get into a fight with us, if it always disappears."

Garret shrugged and looked around again before climbing down "Want any help with that?" He asked indicating the rabbits and quail.

"It's fine," Autumn said. "I'm almost done anyways. Could you get a fire going, though?" Autumn finished skinning the last rabbit and stood up. "I'm going to go wash up." She ran back inside the cover of the trees, heading towards the lake.

Garrett nodded and turned to the firepit. He set up the wood and got a fire going for them to cook on.

Alexis aimed her arrow at a young doe quietly waiting for it to move that extra inch closer before releasing the arrow and watching it go down. She grinned and looked to Leah. The twins both went over to get the deer so they could get back to the camp.

Autumn kneeled down next to the lake shore. She dipped her hands in the cool water, rinsing the blood off of her hands. As she looked down in the water, she swore she could've seen a slight metallic gleam at the bottom of the lake, but she shrugged it off and returned to the campsite.

Beatrix shrugged, "Maybe there are others like it. Or it could just be psyching us out. If so, it's doing too well."
