City of Ashes RP ~~Players Needed~~

Garret looked over to Elisha "Come on, we won't bite" He said grinning

Alexis looked up, glancing around the group.
Leah smiled softly and checked on her meat, taking a bite when it cooled off.

Charlie looked over at Elisha. "Ya. Cmon, dude. We gotta stick together as a group. Don't make it hard on yourself by disclosing yourself from the group." She said took took a bite if the rabbit meat.

((Lol, she's really weird. She just called him dude. :D))

(poor Elisha...Silva just wanted to try include him but now he is going to feel pressured by EVERYONE. It's not even really his fault that no one trusted him in the first place!

Why is everything so awkward here?

((I call most guys dude. Oh wait, that just supports your statement))

Elisha shrugged. He got up and sat closer to the fire, still remaining silent. Autumn sat next to him, taking small bites of her rabbit. So far, she had been the only one that was genuinely kind to him and accepted him as one of the group. He had a nagging feeling that all the others were being 'nice' to him out of pity.

((Autumn went over and sat with him even before Silva said anything. Sure, she din't say anything, but it was a good kind of silence))

Garret ate his rabbit. Every so often he would pick out one of the plants and eat a piece of it, or hand it to one of the others to eat with the meat.

Beatrix scooted away, "I don't trust you, just to let you know. There's something fishy about you. I don't like having you here, but I'd rather be able to keep tabs on you and figure you out. Just be glad I didn't chop you into sushi when you started rattling off names."

(At least she's honest. LOL.)

"Beatrix..." she mumbled.
Silva gritted her teeth and sighed. Beatrix had just voiced what worried her own mind. But Cable and the rest had backed her efforts to make friends with Elisha. Had she done wrong?...she certainly hadn't meant to make it such a big deal. This crazy messed up world she had woken up to had put her on edge...she didn't know why she didn't trust Elisha, she just did. She didn't know what to do show she decided to risk it all.
She sat down next to Elisha and Autumn and said in a low, barely audible calm voice. "Look, I don't know about you, but I just woke up to this crazy place surrounded by people whom I have no remembrance of. Plus we can do things I know we shouldn't be able to do. My first reactions...all of our first reactions...were founded off of our fear, mistrust and confusion. Now I am sorry for singling you out for my mistrust. You really haven't done anything to deserve it, Elisha. And you both seem to be cut from the same cloth...guarded, brave, and smart. I would love to kick out right now and survive on my own...I might even have a better chance. But something tells me that would be suicide, no matter my skills. We need to stick together. And I am not saying this because I pity you. Don't think of yourself so highly. I simply am trying to say that I am willing to start over afresh tomorrow...no mistrust...no cold shoulders. Simply working together to find out answers. I believe that my reactions are are what they are...based on a fear I am not willing to admit and filled with a mistrust I don't know if it is rightfully placed. I am willing to drop them completely."
She looked at them each in turn and offered her hand, palm up, to Elisha in a gesture of peace. She didn't know how, but she knew it was the right thing to do in situations like this. Her eyes spoke of her sincerity and their steely cold gaze told of her determination. She hoped he would complete the gesture of peace.
