"Insults are old fashioned. A taunt can get done quicker, and with less of a mess, than an insult can any day. Insults can hurt someone deeply. Taunts on the other hand can simply be a passing comment...only those quick on mind can catch their meaning."

"A taunt can be said in passing, but an insulted can crafted to inflict maximum damage and leaving the opponent unarmed." said Beatrix.

"Touche." Tryst leaned back and sighed. This was his kind of conversation. He had not realized how much he liked jokes, pranks, and 'passing insults'. Perhaps his gift was confusing the enemy so much with insults and pranks he could just run away.
"It takes as skill that can't just be learned to achieve that. I have a feeling it wouldn't be hard for you, that's for sure. Or me, for that matter. I am just more subtle than you!"

"Considering that attempt and 'cranky girl' I would say I win." said Beatrix.

Charlie watched to exchanges silently. Odd how people can become so wrapped up in a conversation about insults that they forget their current situation.
