City of Ashes RP ~~Players Needed~~

Jo looked at Cable. "That's kind of an odd name. But you have to admit, it does sound really cool." He ran his fingers through his hair nervously. "So what are you guys doing?"

Autumn looked behind her at the two guys. At least they wore different shirts so she could tell them apart. She caught Cable's gaze and grinned as she signed a joke to him. ((This is literally just the first joke I found on the internet))Two cows were talking in the field. One cow says, "Have you heard about the Mad Cow disease that's going around?

The other cow answers, "Yeah, makes you glad you're a penguin, doesn't it?

(XD what is the joke????)
Cable smiled and looked at Jo. "I  really have no idea..." He whispered too softly for Autumn to her, but loud enough for Joe. "Uhm.... well we're mostly like... looking through the stores trying to find anything useful. You can't remember anything can you?" Cable added the last question as more of an afterthought.

Jo shook his head. "Not before meeting you guys," His hand instinctively went to his nunchucks, which were hidden in the leg of his jeans. "Is there anybody else?"

"Yeah there's a bunch of other people." Cable said searching Jo's face curiously. He was making some weird expressions that people made when they were trying to hide emotions... he didn't know what emotion it was though.
(Makes sense because he has to pay really close attention to their faces when they're talking. have you ever tried lip reading before?)

((Tryst and Isabella were just about to enter whatever building they were supposed to enter...you never specified what it was.))

Silva stared in awe out at the skyline of the city...at least, what remained of the city.
Buildings were crumbling in various stages of disrepair, smoke rose from different spots as if fires still raged in the heart of this terrible place. One thing was certain...the further in, the more woebegone and destroyed the city became. If they had been wary of what the outlying buildings looked like, it was nothing compared to this.
Silva didn't quite know what to think...
"This doesn't look good...the others need to see this." she whispered to Leah. In her heart, she was having second thoughts about going in there...

Garret Garret added a third layer to the bags to keep them from bursting open on them as they moved. He picked up a couple and indicated the door "Let's meet up with the others again, I don't like us all being separated like this."

Alexis looked to Sky "I don't think we are going to find anything of importance in here"

Sky nodded, "exactly what I was thinking... Let's go meet up with everyone else."

Charlie nodded. "Alright, let's go." She said, picking the bag back up.

Alexis smiled and started for the stairs to go back out of the building.

Garret exited the grocery store and looked around before walking back to the place they had split up at. He set the bags down and looked around, waiting on the others to return.
