Alexis, Leah and Garret all stood and started towards the scream, pulling their weapons out as they came close.

Beatrix ran like the wind, swords out. It seemed horribly, painfully slow to her. Her hair streamed out behind her, exposing the animal snarl on her face.

Elisha exchanged a glance with Jasper.Did they tell you anything? he thought-asked.

((Neither of them had been told that something was going to happen))

No. But we'd better go. Jasper thought-answered. As he ran, he grabbed a large stick from the ground. It'd have to do.

Elisha was already sprinting like the wind. He arrived at the overlook where Autumn spent a lot of her time. He kneeled down to the broken arrow. "This was hers," he said, recognizing the feathers at the end. It was a unique combination of feathers, one only Autumn used on her arrows. He growled in frustration.

Beatrix skidded to a halt, looking around wildly. "D*** it!" she yelled. She paced around the space, looking for a kind of trail, "When I find them, I'll kill them. Then I'll kill Autumn for stress."

Garret stopped and looked around "Where did she go?" He asked then started looking around for clues, putting a sword away.

Alexis and Leah came to a stop, watching the others quietly.
Leah decided to get a higher view and put away her bow and arrow so she could climb up a nearby tree to look around.

Isn't it funny? said the little voice, Just when you resolve to find answers, look what happens? More questions Beatrix. More questions.

"Shut up." Beatrix muttered inaudibly.
