Garret shook his head and blew out a breath, calming and looking to Jasper "Very sure, there's no signs here." He pointed to the trail "And if we go back we can choose another trail to search"

"Okay then. Let's go," said Jasper. The excited little kid that wanted to be Superman in him was jumping for joy. He had superpowers. Dude, he thought to himself, that's awesome.

Garret turned to follow the trail back to the spot where they had found the arrow

Beatrix paced by the campsite, the air around her practically crackling with fury and tension. Her fingers danced along the hilt of her swords. Her eyes darted from side to side, searching for something, though she didn't know what.
 
Garret had returned to the bottom branch of his tree, watching the others and thinking.

Alexis and Leah were sitting together, cleaning their bows and arrows.
