She gave him a wry smile, "Just don't make me regret it, okay?""I feel like the others pity me more than anything else," Elisha said quietly. "And if we don't find her soon, there might not be any Autumn left to like me." He hugged his knees to his chest, staring off into the distance.

Elisha looked up at her in surprise. She was actually saying that? For a moment, he wondered if he was asleep. But he wasn't. "Oh... kay." he said, looking at her strangely. She was the last person he thought would ever say that, especially to him.

Elisha clicked a couple times. He got up abruptly. "I'm going for a walk," he declared, but not loud enough to disturb any of the sleepers. He picked up his sword and slipped it into its sheath. He clicked as he started walking back to the hill where they had woken up.
