Garret got up when the voices moved away and went to get some breakfast. He studied his surroundings as he walked through the trees, searching for anything they hadn't already picked clean in the area as he chewed on a bit of the meat the twins had smoked through the night for them

"No." Elisha said. He sat down on the top of the hill and looked up. It was a New Moon, so all you could see were the stars. "I wonder what's going to happen to us. How we'll live our lives after this."

Beatrix plopped down beside him, "You could become a diver. I could be – I dunno, a stunt person. That'd be fun."

Beatrix shrugged, "We don't know that for sure. I mean, a little group of teens? There's got to be more."

Beatrix said nothing for a minute, frowning at the stars. Then, suddenly, "Could we tell where we are by stars? Maybe get some sort of idea…that is, if anyone here knows anything about astronomy."
