City, Suburb, or country?

Country for me!

I lived on the river out in the woods growing up and then I married my DH who moved me over 10 miles from the nearest town into the deep woods! LOL I LOVE IT! I can scream to the top of my lungs outside and no one could hear it! I could go out and sunbathe nude and no one will see me. Deer out everyday, little rabbits, millions of birds, squirrels, hawks, owls, fox, bobcats, and the endless number of opossums! We have a big property full of horses, chickens, and lots of other critters with a gorgeous creek at the back corner.

It is the life, I tell ya!!!

We live in the country on 80 acres. We are about 4 miles from a little po-dunk town. The only thing in it is a Caseys! It took my DH and I over 20 years to be in a position to finally get our farm. So all of you wishing for acres out in the boonies, don't give up hope! Dreams come true!

Rural that has become more and more like the suburbs each day. I have 3 acres and I just started the chicken plunge with 4 chickens (BO). My next move will be to the full fledged country side

Country- "homestead subdivision."

We have 6 acres on a nice river w/ a spring fed pond and state forest on one side. The other neighbors all have 3-5 acre lots. We and most of our neighbors all have good sized vegetable gardens and fruit orchards. Three of us have chickens. One person has dairy goats and someone has peacocks (I can't see them, but I can hear the darned things screaming during the day). We also have a dog.

It's 10 miles to a decent sized town in any direction, though a smaller village for our mailing address is closer.

In the middle of nowhere, so I guess we are rural

We are surrounded by woods, farmland, bogs, and some neighbors have horses. Only part of our road is paved, rest of it is dirt. It's fun driving in the winter. I love snow

We had some much last winter, I was in snowshoe heaven.
