City water

My grandma thinks that city water will give my soon to arrive chicks diarrhea. Is this true? I do have access to well water if so. It sounded a little off base to me, but I figured I better ask the experts first!

She may be worried about the chlorine and floride they insist we "need" in city water. It did not affect mine adversely.
