But is his name in the article, I mean? I will also ask my fried Kevin who is a rabbi and very into doing things himself. He has experimented a bit with this but he is more into things like building a matzoh oven, not birdies. I'll see if he knows anything though. He's a tough man to pin down though so it may take me a bit.

Yes, but googling it didn't get me anywhere. Any leads would be appreciated! I'm not in a massive hurry, though, so don't worry too much -- I haven't even ordered the chicks yet.

Okie dokie, I think I need to go clean out the garage AND he coop, but before I go - the NYT s actually super responsive, so if you note the name of the writer you can email him/her at the paper and they are likely to get right back to you. Even Nick Kristof, the best writer there, emailed me back once. g'luck.
