This past weekend (he was drumming a lot so the photo is blurred).

Almost looks like two different birds when you compare the photos! This is when I took his mud caked body out of the box:

I do have a question for the experts. Will he always be with inflated skin or is this just because it is spring and he is feeling better now? He goes about the day non stop and I worry he will wear himself out.

We laugh about our tom always having his tux on. Every now and again, we'll catch him all deflated and white faced, but the second he knows we're there, he puts on the Ritz.

Ours will come off the roost in the morning grab a quick bite to eat and strut all day long. They will wear their wing feathers down dragging them on the ground. That's turkey toms
