Classroom chicks -- grown up! Do I have roosters?

Hey again! I thought I would ask you to take a closer look at this one young chicken for me -- I only had a bad picture of it up there. It's the one we call "Cuddles" because of its fluffy face, LOL.

It's tail/feathers look Roo-y to me, but it has no wattle and the comb is super small -- only turned pink/red about a few weeks ago.

Looking closer, think he's still a roo?

Definitely a rooster. He has a pea comb which is why it is so much smaller than the combs on the other roosters. It is common for bearded roosters to have small or non existent wattles. He is most likely an Easter egger mix of some sort.

Sorry to jump on your thread but did 'Winnie' look like this when younger?

Thanks so very much! That would explain the fluffy face I love so much. :)

Too bad he's a rooster! Are you also of the opinion that a Brahma roo would be a better bet to keep over one of the Rock mixes? I think we're going to try and keep 1 -- it would be 1 to 5 females. (And as we're losing 4.. we'll be looking into getting more girls in the Spring.)
