Joan woke refreshed and full of energy from her night's sleep. She climbed over her Twoleg (me lol) and leaped off the nest to have some food. She went to her bowl, ate some of the pellet-food there, then yowled to go outside. Her Twoleg yowled something back from her nest, but Joan only recognized her name. The moving-wall ((door, but as a cat would see it)) opened, and her Twoleg meowed in her strange language again. Joan decided to go hunting. She broke into a steady trot and headed for the woods.

Joan had tracked a squirrel to a tree in the edge of the woods, where the oaks turned to pines. She tried to pinpoint the squirrel, but couldn't pick up its scent over the cat-scent that was there. ((The Thunderclan border)) She pricked her ears when she heard cats approaching. "What are you doing here?!"a young female cat meowed to Joan. "This is Thunderclan land." ((( Sunpaw having her first assessment)))
Joan was confused by this strange cat's meowings. "I- I-I'm sorry. I'll lea-"
"No. You'll return to camp with me. Now."
They set out. Sunpaw was nervous, but she remained assertive so the trespasser wouldn't see how afraid she was.
