But stonekit was still mad. He stared at the moss ball in the dirt in front of him and wished it would hit Shimmerkit right in the nose. Suddenly, the mossball flew up and whacked Shimmerkit right in the nose, just like he wished. He stared, wondering what just happened.
"Hey! Stonekit why did you hit me?!" shrieked Shimmerkit, flicking her tail angrily.
"I didn't!" cried Stonekit. Clearpool rushed over, guys what happened?!'
shimmerkit wailed, "Stonekit threw the mossball at my face and wont admit it!"
"But i didnt!"
Clearpool sighed, "its okay, Stonekit, but you have to at least apologize to your sister."
"No! I didnt do anything!" he cried and ran off. "They hate me now. What if they kick me out?" He went over and found Peonypaw. "please Peonypaw, you have to help me! They all think i hurt Shimmerkit but i didnt!"
Peonypaw loooked confused, but Stonekit decided she didnt believe him. What was he going to do?
He scrambled his tiny body through the dirtplace and hid in some reeds, hoping they wouldn't find him, and he could just forget what happened.

Meanwhile back at camp, Clawstar was alerted that they couldn't find Stonekit and the whole camp was looking for him.
"Oh Shimmerkit, this is all your fault" whined Dawnkit. They had to stay in the nursery because they wren't old enough to help look. Dawnkit was beside herself with worry for Stonekit, and Shimmerkit counldn't believe he'd gotten so upset.
Moonglow was eventually sent in to calm the kits.
"Dont worry, im sure they will find your brother, but for now you need to relax." SHe pulled them in her lap and smiled at the little kits.

"This is all your fault" whispered Dawnkit. "It is not!" Snapped Shimmerkit." While Moonglow was licking Dawnkit to calm her down, Shimmerkit sneaked out of the nursery and started looking for Stonekit. Knowing Stonekit, she knew that he was definitley not in camp. She wiggled through the dirtplace tunnel because that was the only way out without being seen. She sat down and tasted the air and looked around for any sign of him. Suddenly, she heard a faint sound of sniffling coming from behind the reeds nearby. "There you are!" Yelped Shimmerkit bouncing onto his back. "Go away leave me alone!" Yelled Stonekit flipping her off his back. "Come on Stonekit, everybody's worried about you! I'm sorry for being mean to you and Dawnkit." Meowed Shimmerkit clenching her teeth because it took a lot of her effort to apologize. "I forgive you, but if I come back you have to tell Clearpool that you were the one who accidentally tripped on the mossball and it landed on your face." "Okay, I guess." She replied feeling the urge to leave him there and tattletale that he was hiding to the rest of the camp. But instead, she helped Stonekit to his paws and lead him back into camp. When they entered the tunnel, Clearpool and Larkfeather ran to them and started showering them with licks. "Where were you Stonekit?! We were so worried!" Meowed Larkfeather. "Sorry Larkfeather, I tripped on the mossball and it landed on my face. It wasn't Stonekit. He was just hiding in the reeds because no one believed him." Said Shimmerkit with a regretful look on her face." "It's alright. I'm just glad you two are safe. Let's go into the nursery. I'm sure Dawnkit and Moonglow are still worried about you. "

In the nursery, Moonglow had finished grooming Dawnkit and was frantic looking for Shimmerkit. “Where could have gone? Why? She knows it’s not safe!” Wailed. Dawnkit. Moonglow appeared calm but inside she was just as worried. She called for Peonypaw.
“Peonypaw, I need you to go tell the clan that Shimmerkit is missing as well.”

Dawnkit squealed “Everyones going missing!” as she buried her head in her paws

Peonypaw nodded and bounded out of the den as she told the leader that Shimmerkit was missing. Clan members nearby heard, whispering things to each other with worry for their clan mate

Shimmerkit and Stonekit were being escorted into the frantic camp, and Clawstar rushed down as soon as he saw them.
“Good thing you were found! What were you thinking running away like that, Stonekit?” Meowed Clawstar. Being so close to the leader, Stonekit was nervous, but his mother told him,
“Answer your leader.”
“I-I got in trouble besause They thought I did something wrong and I didn’t and I was scared I would get kicked out of the clan and I went and hid and I’m so so sorry please don’t kick me out!” Gasped Stonekit, whimpering.
“Oh Stonekit, we’d never kick you out of the clan!” Mrowed the leader. “But you know kits can’t leave camp until they are 6 moons old! You must have a consequence for your actions.”
Stonekit sighed in relief. “Okay.”
Clawstar sent an apprentice to fetch Moonglow and Dawnkit, and continued. “You too Shimmerkit, though it was brave for you go find your brother, you must be punished as well.”
“But-“ Shimmerkit was cut off being nudged harshly by her father. “Okay” she sighed.
“You both will help the apprentices clear out the elders bedding, while still staying in camp. They will show you how.”
The kits dipped their heads and padded to meet Dawnkit and Moonglow…. To be continued…

Later, while helping the apprentices clean the elder's bedding, Shimmerkit was complaining about how she shouldn't be doing this because she found Stonekit which was brave. Meanwhile Stonekit worked diligently on the bedding blocking out her constant complaining. "When I'm a warrior I'll go anywhere I want without anyone telling me what to do! And I'll have the most beautiful pelt in the entire clan!" Meowed Shimmerkit angrily. "What does your pelt have to do with our punishment?!" Yowled Stonekit annoyed with her. "Aaah! I don't want to do this anymore!" Yelped Shimmerkit flopping on the ground and rolling onto her back. Ignoring her, Stonekit made sure that the elder's nests were perfectly made. Bored, Shimmerkit started clawing at leaves on a small plant growing next to her. When she lifted her paw up to stretch, she realized that the plant was growing at the height of her paw. What? How is this happening? interrupting her thoughts, Stonekit finished the bedding and asked if she left to go play with Stonekit.
