Clean Human feet before entering the coop/pen. Is there a natural way?

I am planning on keeping a box of plastic shoe covers, like doctors use, or like deliverymen/carpenters/etc use when coming into a home. I don't know why, but I never gave thought to preventing stuff from coming into the coop. I was more focused on not bringing coop stuff back into the house

I don't personally see going to the trouble of putting something out to clean your feet. I want my eggs as chemical free as possible and I feel that it is a waste of time and money. My chickens go in and out of the coop from several poop doors around the coop. They get on the ground and are in and out all day long and they are healthy. Why would you want to put chemicals inside your coop that could be harmful to your chickens. I raise my chickens for the eggs. If I wasn't worried about the chemicals I would be better off to buy them from the store. I do have several pairs of shoes that I do wear when I go into my chicken area and that's so I don't drag in the house what I get on my feet. This is just my thoughts, but the Good Lord has taken care of them for years.
