Hello everyone,
I'm a newbie and need help with cleaning my old used coop that was once infested with mice. What is the best and harmless solution to clean that as well as old chicken poop ( that might infect the new chicks with some diseases). We have pressure washed the coop with plain water. Is there something else we can clean it with?
Thank you for the help! I've enjoyed reading and getting education on some of your post. We bought 4 3 day old chicks and they are almost 3 weeks old. We are planning to put them in the coop when they have adult feather. Can we do it sooner? What is the standard age for them to be in the coop? We live in Northern California and still have temperatures in the 40's in the morning.
