I know not to wash the eggs but there is some feces on the shell like a cake. I would rather not incubate the waste. Can I rinse it off and still have viable eggs for incubation?

I wash every egg that has any dirt on it before putting in incubator. Commercial hathceries wash and disinfect every egg.

Yup, most people wash eggs. However, if your still worried about it you can dip your eggs in oxide
solution, it'll clean and disinfect but not wash off the bloom. You don't 'wash' the eggs, just dip them
into the solution and lay them on a paper towel to dry. It's totally safe, infact lots of people here use
it not only for their eggs, but to clean coops/waterers and feeders, etc.

Good luck!

Thanks it is only our second time hatching and we were not sure. I decided to rinse them and used only cold water soak no real rubbing so hopefully all will be fine.
