i've got one of those plastic circle feeders with the holes all the way around it. I am at the point where I need to replenish food and clean out the brooder a bit. Should I throw the food that's in there away (it's got pine shavings and poop in it) or can I take the non-food items out of the feed and keep using it? I don't want to be wasteful unless it's too unsanitary to keep. my chicks are about a week old.
