Beans are fine if they are cooked.

I'd keep the amount of onion fairly small. It acts as a blood thinner in some mammals. Don't know if it affects chickens or not, so a bit of caution until someone finds out for sure.

Birds like dried hot peppers and the peppers are good for them. They don't taste the component that we taste as hot, so they will probably eat salsa.

A pig pickin' is a shindig where they roast a 1/2 pig in a big mobile roaster. They cook it all day and baste it with a vinegar barbecue sauce. When it starts to fall apart , you dig in and pig out! Usually accompanied by lots of other food, freinds and beer.

oh, it's called a pig roast where i live. and boy is it yummy! my mouth is watering just thinking about it
