Cleaning Poop off the patio

I looked around , I hope this is in the right section. I let my chickens free range for 3 or more hours a day. Then I clean up the poop from the ground. Usually by sweeping it into a dust pan and digging a whole in the ground. Some of the poop is more brown and really sticks to the ground , even with high a pressure hose. Any suggestions of how to remove the 'brown spots' on my patio.? Thanks. If this keeps up, before long my whole patio will be all stained spots. Ewww!

I am going to be installing a baby safety gate for the exact reason you mentioned. EWWW My deck is just getting plain nasty.

I've learned to think of chicken poop as hardscaping.

I've never heard of it staining???
What kind of patio?
Have you tried scrubbing?
Staining the patio brown?

Bleh! Wondering the same thing. Our next house will have a MUCH bigger run and less free ranging.

I have a gate up; those little girls fly right over it!

When they get into a part of the yard I have gated off, it is so funny to watch them! They 'know' they aren't allowed there, and freeze like a deer in headlights when I go shoe them off! I call them "The Wrecking Crew!"

I love them, my Australorp is the best! They have even been coming in my house if I leave the screen door open.

There is a product called Poop Off especially for removing bird poop...
