Hello!
What should I use to sanitize my waterers and how often? Plastic or metal waterers?
Thank you

I just wash mine in water, and refill. Do you encounter some type of unusual bacteria, viruses that most of us are not.??
Chickens are able to withstand way more impurities than people. The will consume their gumdrops, and catch no sickness. They scratch thru things on the ground, and eat all sort of things on the land. So many humans, (but not all) throw away food that fall on their kitchen floor.

WISHING YOU BEST,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,:highfive:

In the summer, I wiped them out with vinegar to help keep the slime at bay. This time of year, they get a rinse and a scrub with hot water. These are plastic and rubber; the acid in the vinegar will react with metal.
