I don’t know if there is a thread about this but I would like some help.
How to make cleaning spray to refresh up the coop when u clean it all out? I heard that vinegar and water and dawn dish soap and eo, can some help confirm or tell me what you did

I never bothered with any kind of water cleaning. A chicken coop needs to stay dry.

Fork out the used bedding, put in new bedding. Maybe use a broom to dust excess cobwebs off the wall before forking out the old bedding. As long as there's no odor it's clean. :)

When we moved the coop and remodeled it we used the shopvac on it to remove all loose debris.

I also use nothing. Like all birds, chickens have delicate respiratory systems and I would not want to spray anything in there that might cause a problem. As long as it doesn't stink it should not be a problem.

Being wet for a period of time can cause it to stink. If it is wet the microbes that break bedding and poop down become the anaerobic ones, the ones that can't live in the presence of oxygen. That stinks and becomes unhealthy. If poop builds up past a certain level it can stay wet, which also has these problems. So my goal is to manage the poop and the coop in a way that it doesn't stink.
