I work in the forest so I dump all my garbage there for the bears... saves a lot on the garbage bill, is that what they mean by recycle?


Actually I burn alot and recycle some but there are several big dumpsters in the campgrounds that always have room. I know it is illegal but if they get dumped empty or full it pays the same.

We compost and recycle but I still have enough garbage for one can every two weeks, and sometimes more than that. Those plastic wrappers that are on a lot of things are the culprit.

For example, cheese wrappers and wrappers on pasta bags.

I hope you are not serious about the garbage and the bears... it makes them more likely to venture into civilization and harass people, then they end up having to be relocated (costs taxpayer money) or shot (bear that didn't have to die).

Thanks, hemet dennis. for the suggestion about how to get the private message to post. I tried it a lot of times with the same outcome. It even happens on the forums here now when I try to post a reply. Wasn't sure if it was my computer or something odd on the site.
In fact, it's doing it now. To get this post onto the thread, I had to put it through "preview" first before I could submit it. When I tried to send directly, I got the message stating that I have to type a message, like there's nothing there. In the private messages, I can't even get it to accept a preview.

Maybe we should bring this up on the technical forum.
