Now that I've caught most of my chickens, I need to clip their wings. I've been on YouTube and tried to learn about it. Some people say to clip just the top portion of them and others say to clip both. What do I do?

Also, some people say to cut both sides and some say to only cut 1.

Cutting both can cause leg injuries as chickens will drop like rocks. I like to start by clipping one, not too severe and than see if it's enough. I start by cutting about half of the primary feathers. You can always clip more, if you clip too much they won't grow back on a mature bird until next fall generally so it's best to start out cautious.
