Clipping the wings

When can I first clip the wings of my chickens? I think they may be almost 8 weeks old and they are into everything. I'd like to clip their wings so they can stay closer to the ground.

You can clip the primary feathers at any stage, but while the young ones are still growing, you may have to re-clip them several times as feathers keep growing in. Once they are full size, you only need to do it after each molt.
