Clipping wings ?

At what age is it safe to start clipping turkey wings to prevent them from flying well up high ? I noticed today that some of my 1 week old midget white poults are flying around the brooder, so I made sure I have a good screen covering on the brooder, and started moving the brooder lamps higher so they don't fly into them.

When they can fly.
Make sure you don't cut into any blood feathers... if you do, pluck the entire feather out with pliers to stop the bleeding.
When you trim the feathers look under them for any red if you see red that is blood DO NOT CUT.
Here is a good example of how to cut BUT
I only disagree on clipping only one side, makes to to off balance and they could break their breastbone.
I would clip both sides.
