HELP angle wing???

I got them on the 15 as day Olds, they are now seemingly developing angel wing, why is this happening?? How to fix?? They are on a game bird starter with 21% protein (i thought high protein causes angle wing???)


Side note I know they should be on a turkey starter with a higher protein but no one has any and the game bird start was recommended.

Angel wing is defined as a waterfowl issue. Turkeys do not get angel wing. Your poult's wing development is normal and will change as they age. This stage for poults usually happens at a younger age but giving them feed that is not up to what they need has greatly slowed their development. The high protein feed that they need for proper development also contains the higher levels of lysine, methionine and niacin that are critical for their proper development.

21% protein is not game bird starter. If you do not have a local supplier who will provide proper starter feed for your poults, try Chewy.com.

Even Amazon carries turkey or game bird starter. It is expensive because they hide the cost of shipping in the price of the product so they can advertise free shipping. The good thing is that you should only need one sack of feed.
