clogged nostrils

Hi, my chicken was simply pecked on the head and blood got in her nose. I cant see it, but when i shine a flashlight i see the dark patch up in there. She is a bantam and is having trouble breathing but i dont want to hurt her nose. What should i do?

Can you see any blood in the roof of her beak if you open it and look in with a light? Saline (1 tsp of table salt dissolved in 2 cups of water, boiled for a few minutes) is very good to put into the nostril, but only a drop or two to soften any secretions. She may sneeze and clear out the nostril. A wooden toothpick may careful be used to clean out a clogged nostril, but do it carefully.
