So the s'morning I let my girls out to roam in the sun. It was so nice out! As I went upstairs to do stuff a hawk started circling so my mom ran out and put them away. I asked her why and she said a hawk was circling really low. So I went back out and checked the sky, let them out again, and went back inside. I watched from the window to make sure no funny business was happening. I turned my head for one second to scold my dog ( don't ask XD) and i turned back and there was the hawk! That sneaky rat had come back! So I didn't have time to grab shoes and so I ran out in my socks, the ground was SOPPING wet cause all the snow just melted and I started flailing my arms and yelling no! It tucked it's talons back and went back into the trees. I quickly put my chickens away. And watched the sky and went back inside. I WAS MAD AT THE DARN HAWK. Too bad there are laws against shooting them

Glad you were able to rescue all of them. One of mine got carried of by a hawk, I think.

Aw I had that happen before. It's horrible. My dad came home and saw it. But I was at a friends house. I was probably like 7-8. I cried all day!
