Hello,
I am new to BYC and came here for suggestions. I have a little 4 month Bantam. I have had her for a few weeks. She was fine when I got her. About 2 weeks ago I noticed my other chickens pecking at her. As I watched her closer, I noticed her eyes closed. I have had her separated from the others for a week now. I do have one other little Bantam in with her, they are best buddies. Anyways, 80% of the time her eyes are closed. She walks around like she is blind, but when she bumps into things, she opens her eyes to see where she wants to go. She is eating and drinking just fine, normal weight, no crusty stuff around the eyes, not watery....seems perfectly normal except eyes closed most of time. I read about the eyeworms but I do not believe she has that. I am at a loss. Should I just let her do her thing? Picture to follow. Thanks in advance.
