that is an excellent idea! I can see also how it can be adapted to other quick growing greens ( salad, wheat grass etc)

I do not plan on having as much run room, but a small pallet could be slid in and out pretty easily!
 
I hope you are no where close to Raleigh and all is well with you and your family. What a devastating nightmare. I love your set up and copied your idea for growing grass. I unfortunately don't and can't have a set up quite like yours so I did the next best thing. I used large round and rectangle planter boxes and planted the grass. I planted two so far. I have enough for 4. I plan on rotating them. We will see how it goes before I plant the rest.
