Yesterday I noticed one of my roosters eyes looked cloudy. It is the same today.
He is still eating/drinking normally. He even started crowing this morning for the first time!
He did have the diarrhea (not cecal) yesterday but he was drinking a lot, I suspected it was because it was hot. I’m not 100% sure if he still has it today because I had to work and couldn’t observe him but I suspect he still does, there looked to be some diarrhea looking poop in the run when I got home.
He is a 9 week old EE. They have a covered run. They are still eating medicated chick starter (because it has not run out yet) They have been getting offered some different grasses lately, their nanny lies to throw some in during the day. And they have recently had some mint. That’s the only thing new.
I had intended to rehome him, if he can’t find a home he is destined for freezer camp. His hatch mates all appear fine.

UPDATE:
Both of his eyes have gone cloudy now. He is still eating and drinking although when I gave them scratch earlier I had to hold him his own dish as he couldn’t seem to see it on the ground. He has no trouble finding his food and water dishes though. His poops are normal. He seems to be very clingy with me when I am in the run with them.
ALSO, I noticed my only one I know is a hen for sure has one cloudy eye. She also is eating, drinking and pooping normally. So far her vision appears to be unaffected. Pictures of both left and right eyes of both birds attached.
If this is Mareks, what do I do? Do I wait and see how they do? Will they die for sure? Can they survive this? Could it be something else? Vitamin deficiency? Cataract? Unusual since 2 appear to be affected now. Any help advice is VERY appreciated. This is our first flock and I’m so worried. Did I do something or not do something to cause this?

Sorry no one answered your thread until now (I was posting when someone dis answer. Does the left eye look normal? Okay, I just see that you have said it involves both pupils now. A common cause of blindness and a cataract is AE (avian encephalomeylitis, epeidemic tremor.) How is the air circulation in the coop? Is there any ammonia odor?

No odour in the coop, ventilation (can always be better right?) but I believe it is sufficient. I can always post pics of that as well if that would help. I had been wondering about AE as well, one of his flock mates went wonky when it was 2 weeks old, was wobbly for about a week. I gave it Stress Aid and probiotic, it did well and recovered. It now has curled toes which it didn’t have initially but seems to be fine otherwise, gets around very well.

I keep their run clean, rake it several times a week. It is a covered run with topsoil as a base. They were put in their coop on June 14. They have pine shavings on the floor and Fresh Coop on their poop board. I scoop large poops regularly but have not done a full clean out, I was trying the deep litter method, but now am paranoid about the dust after reading about Mareks.

Curious if you ever figured out what was going on and how they are doing now?
Never figured it out officially. Gwynnie (rooster) is doing very well. He can see some but not great. Pupils are still cloudy but no different than before. Also each one of my hens has one cloudy pupil, but one pupil that is fine. Everyone otherwise appears to be happy and healthy. :idunno
