I've been having issues since I introduced 7 new hens to my flock so I could have eggs now instead of waiting for my current girls to be ready. I'm obviously kicking myself right now.
Luckily I am getting a refund for them, but I still need to treat so they can get better.

I'm not sure what's going on. Could be many different things and the longer I look up chicken illnesses I more I get sick to my stomach worrying that my entire flock will die or have to be culled.

The first symptom I noticed was one of my original hens, snotty and rattling( sounds like a quiet snoring).

A sound like a hiccup and a head shake.

The next two had the same thing but there faces swelled around the eyes.

Currently my original (4) girls are still rattling, and most of the others are runny nose/ snot bubbles.
I didn't get pictures, it's clear snot for the most part. I will get pictures if needed.

Some don't have any symptoms at all, especially the youngest. 4weeks-12 week range.
I do have one 4 week acting funny. Standing there, most of the time sleeping with ruffled feathers.
I figured it was a reaction to the penicillin, the chickie is separated while I monitor along with snow white.

The bird (snow white) I'm most concerned about seems to be turning blind/is blind... The pupils are cloudy. One eye is swollen around it.
No snot, just the eye issue. Note the cloudy pupil.

A friend of mine seems to think it's pink eye and I have started doses for Penicillin. Syringe full in waters and 1cc down snow whites throat.
I'm starting to wonder if it is not pick eye and something I did. (DE dusting getting in her eye). Or maybe the eye swelling is from a bad peck infection she got after becoming blind?
I'm baffled.
Currently she has been getting since 8-17 :1cc of penicillin down throat(once a day) and mixed with water(all day exposure). Medicated feed(all day exposure). And eyewash spray(Am and Pm).

I've been feeding the eggs back to the chickens, scrammbled.(still feel weird about it, they are fertile) I read somewhere when withholding it's a good things to do as not to waste and give the med back to hens.
My husband is allergic to penicillin so eating eggs is a no no right now. Over all I wasn't sure If I shouldn't eat eggs from sick chickens and I still haven't found anything on the subject via google.

Last dose would be sunday. She doesn't seem to be getting better and I'm thinking the worst. Any suggestions would be amazing!

I've been using Chicken remedy on the snotty coughing chickens and also some in the water. I'm going to try Apple cider vinegar next. Right now I am using Save a chick electrolytes along with one waterer of chicken remedy.

I also have three chickens that the woman sold me that have impacted crops. I don't get a gross smell and they are still alive so I'm assuming it's not sour crop. I've been soaking the layer feed in olive oil and im thinking about finding an eyedropper to feed it directly.

Any suggestions on mites on legs would be nice too. I've been rubbing chicken remedy on them. Hoping it works.

The two RIRs look like their feathers were eaten by mice as well, would that go away when they molt?

This really sucks I was sold chickens that were sick. But I'm hoping to heal everyone. =[

P.s. I kept new chickens separate from the old for a week. What is the normal? I'm guessing I needed longer?

Any help appreciated and thanks in advance.

Sorry for the long mess of issues. Pictures included.

I'm trying to get opinions on what others have done or would do in my situation.
Please don't give me crap, I get enough trouble from the lady I got the chickens from...
I can't understand how she believes she didn't sell me unhealthy chickens. (The leghorn and the RIRs are from her. The white rock with the eye issues is mine)
