He was my only grandpa growing up. Pretty sure the other one died before I was born, and from what I've been told I didn't miss out on much.I never had grandpas growing up. I'm adopting yours. Is his name Ed? I could use a Weird Grandpa Ed who wastes nothing and sings well. I'll sing with him. We could do Sonny and Cher together. We'd be cute.
You're welcome to adopt mine. lol. His name was Harold. He had a beautiful round bald head with hair around the edges, and a mustache. He was always smiling and singing and cooking and making jokes. I'm sure he'd love to sing with you.
He used to toast those little mini bagels and put cream cheese on them for us grandkids and he'd call them "crispy critters". And the exact same thing un-toasted was bagel pies, which he would cut into little pie shaped wedges.
