Vetch quickly looked around the clearing, analyzing their situation. Veritas was a very large doe, but so was Vetch, and she was sure she could take her if she had to. She, however, was concerned about Fett: the ferocity in which he grabbed that buck spooked her.
She cleared her throat, “Greetings, Chief Veritas!“ She tried to stay relaxed, and she quietly bumped Caspian as she felt him tense up beside her. “How has the grazing been? The red clover is filling in, and I’m sure your reaping the benefits!” She looked around, “You all seem fit. Any new kits lately?”
Vetch didn’t want to immediately bring up the knoll, as she knew that would come on too strong. She wasn’t much of a diplomat, and would much rather claim the knoll through a skirmish, but the Thicket rabbits were fit, the muscles rippled under their fur and they glared at the Prairie rabbits with clear eyes.
