"Great blue berries! Humans found the Burrows? Good heavens, they need to get out of there!" Kenobi paused to think. "I will talk with my chief on this. Thank ye for your help, fox, we will take the kit from 'ere. Come along liddle one." He said, motioning to Wednesday, "We'll get you to safety."
"Oh." Wednesday said, hopping to Kenobi. "Bye, pretty fox."
"Aye, comon lass." Kenobi gently directed her towards the Colony. As they hopped through the woods, Kenobi's scouts flanking their small party, he tried to make conversation. "What is your name, liddle rabbit? And why are your ears flopped? Did the eagle break them?"
Wednesday latched onto the last question. "This one goes up and down!" She said, indicating the right ear. "But the left one, it stays floppy. Both my mommy's ears stayed floppy. My brother's ears were straight up. But My ears are one each!" She put her right ear straight up as far as it would go to prove it.
Freya: that's why they were coming here. I'll stay, promised I wouldn't eat rabbit, but I doubt your leader would want me to follow. Gotta hunt for food now anyway.
*twister awoke after a while. He groaned some before lifting his head to see his surroundings.*
"Huh." Kenobi remarked. He led Wednesday down Rain's burrow once they had reached the colony. Rain was no where to be found but Twister was there and awake. "Allo, mate! Glad to see you awake and alive. How'd ye feelin?" He asked, approaching the buck slowly.
Wednesday had been in a burrow like this once, like her mother had built for nursing her kits. But she couldn't remember it very well. She decided to thump against the ceiling. "Hey, look at the dirt falling down there!"
Kenobi turned to the kit, giving Twister an apologetic look, "Yes, um, that happens, mate." He said, a bit confused, "Why don't you set down in that nest there for a bit and get some rest?"
