"Thank you." Rosemary said, uncertainly. Nate suddenly came running up out of seemingly nowhere. "What are you doing with her." He asked Rosemary. Rosemary glanced around nervously. "Hun, it's alright." She whispered. Nate glanced in Natanya's direction, sneering. "Natanya, I might as well say it. I don't trust new rabbits. No one should." He locked eyes with Alethea. Alethea shrunk back. "Stay away from Rosemary." He growled. A sudden anger rose in Alethea. "H-hey!" She stammered. "You can't treat her like that! She's a rabbit just like you! You were new at one time!" "I was born here, Alethea." He growled. "Maybe you should go talk with Natanya." Rosemary suggested. "Alone." She knew her mate was overly protective, but he was very sweet and gentle, too. She thought if they just had a moment to talk and he could ask her questions, maybe that would stop the tension between them
