Noel was surprised that Rex hadn't followed her. Part of her was disappointed but she didn't know why. As she followed the river, she realized that she was slowly getting lost. She was comforted in the fact that she could still double back and follow the river home, but she also was scared of going home and would never do it. She continued to run down the stream until she came to a hill. She climbed it. When she reached the top she suddenly realized how high up she was. She looked below the cliff she was on. It was a marshy area, almost swamp like. She saw movement far below. It was too small to make out but she thought that she was seeing rabbits. She needed to get down there and figure it out. She began to make her was slowly down the hill.
