Alethea hesitated and quickly dipped her head to show her respect. "I'm sorry I thought that, ah, you had a different chief." She took a shaky breath. "Why are you here? We don't like having prisoners, too much work, but I want the entire truth if we let you go. Why didn't you answer my calls? It seemed like an attempt to ambush our Warren."

Jango began to move over to Ludewig. "You lie." He spat. Mirabelle looked at Ludewig questioningly. Alethea looked Ludewig in the eye. "This is not a joking matter, rabbit. You may be chief o food Marsh Colony but you certainly don't act like one. There are at least thirty bucks and does from my Warren. Escape is impossible. I would be careful with what you say."
